How parents are dealing with schools closing due to coronavirus

The decision has left many parents scrambling, trying to figure out how they can make this work with their job and wondering just how long this will last.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Several school districts in the Coastal Bend made the decision to close schools this week in an effort to hinder the spread of COVID-19.

Man guilty of stuffing ex’s body in sofa

Trinidad Perez accepted a deal Monday morning, pleading guilty to one charge of abuse of a corpse, and was sentenced, according to Nueces County First Assistant District Attorney Matt Manning.

The other two charges he was facing, murder and tampering with physical evidence, were dismissed pending further review.
