Trinidad Perez accepted a deal Monday morning, pleading guilty to one charge of abuse of a corpse, and was sentenced, according to Nueces County First Assistant District Attorney Matt Manning.
The other two charges he was facing, murder and tampering with physical evidence, were dismissed pending further review.
